I want my color back. It was stupid of me to do this. How long till its back faded to med. brown?

ThanksIs my dark hair color gonna fade? And makeup tips please..?
I actually like the darker color better! The time it takes to fade depends on the kit. As far as makeup tips, with a rich color like that, I would try a plum pallet instead of browns. Your makeup should also be a little heavier with darker hair than lighter hair. Is my dark hair color gonna fade? And makeup tips please..?
my friend just did the same exact thing. She found that by using dandruff shampoo, it fades faster. haha. I wonder how she learned that one! Doesn't make sense to me, but we were talking about it today and she said it worked. What about low-lights?

Makeup tip: Makeup is supposed to blend in and compliment your face, not dominate it. Although, I like black eyeliner and such. Another: If you don't take off your mascara, it'll make your eyelashes shorter over time.
um I dyed my hair to and i wish i didn't lol - but yeh t takes a long time when waiting for the colour to fade

you best option is to go to the hairdressers and ask them to bleach the colour out of ur hair

my advice - is dont use box dyes - there really crap and 99% of the time you will always get a red tinge to ur hair

hope i helped ! :)

also ur hair doesnt look that bad, that dark anyway :)
honestly, u look better with the dark hair. and black eyeliner and purple shades look good with dark hair. and rosy pink cheeks
I just did the same exact thing - and I feel really weird about it too. I haven't wanted to leave the house in the last couple of days.

I went swimming yesterday to hope that would help, but it didn't really make a difference. My hairdresser told me it would fade to a nice deep brown - and I hope it does FAST, but I'm not sure how fast because it was done professionally. Whenever I dyed it darker with store dyes, it seemed to fade within a couple of weeks, but then the shine went away, too.

I've done the bleaching before but it was really scary and I would never do it on my own again. My hair got really white and stretchy and lots of it fell out.

Your hair DOES look really good darker, it doesn't appear to be that drastic of a change (whereas I went from lots of blond hilites to BLACK).

Hair/Makeup tips?

That's me, on a typical day. I have blonde hair, gray-blue eyes, and I usually just use black mascara and eyeliner. I'm not paper white, but I'm not exactly dark either. I'm tired of my look, because that's how it is EVERY day. I want to spice it up, if you will, and get ready for summer. My hair just dries like that, so I don't do anything to it. Because of that repetition, I'm terrible when it comes to styling my hair. Easy styles would be much appreciated.

What should I do to my hair/makeup?

Thanks!Hair/Makeup tips?
wow your beautiful..i dont see why girls always put on a bunch of crap they already look beautiful enoughhahaHair/Makeup tips?
Try doing some smokey eyes for an evening look or going out on the town, remember to do your lips with a very neutral color ( to keep emphasis on your eyes). Also if you have a curling iron you could section off your hair into pieces, spray with a bit of hair spray ( to hold the curl better) and wrap the hair all around the outside of the iron. It will give you a looser softer curl. Try different sizes of irons, or a three barrel iron. Good luck! P.S. try going to the mall with a nice department store. The make up counters, like Clinique and Lancome, can do your make-up for free, and give you more ideas.
Maybe cut your hair to have bangs on the side. Try some golden bronze eye shadow. Try the creme shadow, they stay on better and have a better color when you're looking for a golden bronze shade. Some Mac Lip Glass in a nice light peach shade.

You're really pretty, just go lightly with the makep.
yu can scrunch yur hair since yu have layers it would be so pretty , an try liquid eyeliner to make a cat eye , with silver or gold eyesadow or black foq or yu can do a smokey eye . those are what i would say would look best on yu .
You're a doll, just to start out. Anyways, to change up the makeup look, you can try using a lighter eyeliner instead of black, such as gray. I did the switch because I would only wear black eyeliner, and now when I look at pictures, I realize the gray looks a lot more natural and less intense but still is attention getting. For eyeshadow, use bluish gray tones for the actual lid and a darker bluish for the fold above the eyelid. A cute hairstyle (and since your hair is already straight it will look nice) is to pin up a little bit in the front top. Like in this picture, I used bobby pins in a neat little propping up of my hair in the front. I don't have bangs and my hair is sraight as well.

In the back, you can put your hair up in a simple messyish but cute bun by twisting your hair in one direction and continuing to do so until it starts piling on top of itself and then when it is in a little bun-type thing, use a hairtie to wrap around it and keep it in place.

You really don't have to do much, you have a very beautiful natural look. Hope this helps! Email me for any more questions or further suggestions!

Hmm you should put whether you are pale of dark skinned.

I think you should use a little bit of dark brown eyeliner on the bottom of your eyes that will make them POP. and then use a black mascara. Then use a lit pink blush to bring out your face. Umm your hair sounds gorgeous. Mabye get it angeled and straighten it.

  • Beauty Questions...? Hair color for eyes + face? Makeup tips?

Hi! I'm twenty years old and a current college student. I was blonde all my life until I dyed my hair a dark brown/red about nine months ago. I really liked it, but I would like some insight on what to do next. I know that I would rather not go back to blonde (still trying new things), and I want a hair color that would look good with my eyes and skin tone (I'm very pale with light blue/gray eyes). Here are some pictures showing my eyes and hair:

Also, could anyone give me any good makeup tips? I'm not very fashion savvy, and I don't know a lot about this sort of thing... so any advice for hair color and makeup would be lovely.

I do love having dark hair... should I get the same color shown above redone? How would a ';carrot top'; red look??Beauty Questions...? Hair color for eyes + face? Makeup tips?

Makeup tips! Grey blue eyes, pale skin and blue & black hair (pic)?

Looking for a full out makeup regimen to try! I have never used foundation and just apply mascara, gloss and shadow in whatever color I feel like. Any suggestions for a basic layout of colors for me to work with so I can have a finished polished look for work?

http://picasaweb.google.com/Miranda.Whit鈥?/a>Makeup tips! Grey blue eyes, pale skin and blue %26amp; black hair (pic)?
    Dear Pretty P / Mindy,

you have great features to work with and here are my suggestions.

    Skincare:

Always use a mild facial cleanser, a alcohol free toner, moisturiser on the dry parts of the skin and a sunscreen across the whole face to your neck. This primes your skin and prolongs makeup on your skin.

    Skin:

You have great skin (as what i see from the picture). Perhaps you would like to use a tinted moisturiser across the whole face for a more polish look when you need a more made up look.

I will keep your skin away from powder foundation as it will ended up looking too thick no matter how thinly it is applied due to your great skin.

A touch of concealer can be placed onto your under eyes. To bring light and covering the shadows there. Powder a sheer powder to set the concealer under the eyes.

    Eyes:

    I love your beautiful eyes.

However they are lost when you don't bring focus to them by drawing in your eyebrows. For your black/blue hair now, I will suggest to use something greyish taupe. This brings focus into your eyes, sculpting your face by bringing together focal points.

Your eyes are very deep set.

What i suggest is to keep too strong colours away as eye shadows.

You do not want your eye shadows to compete with your well coloured hair.

I would suggest using light beiges to soften the deep set of the eyes. This lessen the depth which will bring out the blueness of the eyes.

I will suggest lining the eyes with a deep dark bronze (to once again bring out the blueness of the eyes) eye liner. Mascara of deepest black can be used to add volume to your lashes. Try Covergirl Lash Blast to give beautiful non-clumping jet lack natural luscious lashes.

Use a white eye liner to line the water line of the eyes. This will pop out your eyes more, bringing more focus to the eyes.

If you want eye shadows to be used

    - taupes

    - metallic bronzes

    - shimmery violets

    - sheer lilacs in the inner corner of the eyes

will all bring your eyes out.

But note that lilacs/violets/purples will bring out the GREYness of your eyes, browns and bronzes will bring out the BLUEness of your eyes.

Why keep away from strong eye makeup? You have pale skin. Access eye makeup may create a look too hard for your features. Overly gothic, overly trying-to-be.

    Cheeks:

A natural brown-pink blusher can be use sweeping from your apples towards the temples of your face, following your cheekbones can give you colour and sculpt the face.

Use a sheer pink over the apples after the brown-pink blusher is used to give a pop of colour upon the cheek.

    Lips:

As your lower lips is thicker than the upper lips.

A natural lip colour, slightly darker than your own lips will be used to draw your upper lip. This thickens the upper lips and will equal out the shape of your lips.

Use any lip colour you want to complete the look.

A sheer lipstick (MAC lipstick in Viva Glam VI, Clinqiue Different lipstick in Guava Stain / Spiced Apple, Clinique Colour Surge Butter Shine Lipstick in Baby Baby / Praline, Covergirl TruShine lipstick in 440 Rosy Shine / 465 Peach Shine

Finish with a creamy gloss will do for a day look ( I love Revlon Super Lustrous lip gloss http://www.revlon.com/ProductCatalog/Pro鈥?/a> and Clinique Superbalm Lip gloss http://www.clinique.com/templates/produc鈥?/a>

A night look might have you use a taupish red on the lips.

    NOTE:

With your brightly coloured hair, try not to over apply makeup to compete with your hair as this distracts people from your gorgeous features.

I hope this helps. I am giving my 2cents worth from my makeup artist point of view, do check out my portfolio at http://www.flickr.com/photos/yeo_1978

Makeup tips! Grey blue eyes, pale skin and blue %26amp; black hair (pic)?
Well i think u should better apply light foundation or a tinted moisturizer just for a light coverage and flawless skin,,its better to buy long lasting one like maybelline superstay..then ur eyes are really deep in the pic so i think u can go for kohl inside ur eyes..also try the cat eye look with a maroon, black(occasionally) or brown liner(for professional look) apply red, violet eye shadows on ur eyes(on occasions)..they will suit u..apply mascara.. then apply bronzer on ur cheeks,,sometimes if u want a change u can also go for very light pink blush...and choose a mocha gloss or very light nude pink ,frosty pink gloss...normally long lasting lipsticks are the best for office use..good luck

Hair, makeup, and general appearance tips?

I'm really not thrilled with how I look. I have some acne (working on clearing it up right now), and I just don't feel... pretty. In the slightest. I'm sixteen, and as far as I know, only a couple of guys have found me pretty. It kind of kills my self-esteem, and I wish I knew what I've been doing wrong. Anyway, some tips would be greatly appreciated :)

You are just fine as you are..... very natural prettyiness

I don't know what's wrong with the boys of today if they aren't queing at your door......

Blimey if I was a young lad.... you'd need a big stick to keep me away !

Don't fret, you are more than 'slightly' pretty... just learn to realise that yourself

Hair, makeup, and general appearance tips?
    you are pretty,

but here's a few tips to accentuate what you already have:

    - curl your lashes, and use mascara. ( do bottom and top)

    - you should wax or thread your eyebrows professionally. ( dont do it yourself, )

    - cover-up is the number one makeup i will not go without. but be sure to wash your face EVERY NIGHT when you use it.

    - your hair, its kind of flat =/ but i suggest you get side bangs, get a layered/choppy cut and maybe tease it , and hold it in place with hairspray for a really nice effect.

    - lip-goss is love. a shimmery pink or neutral shade of gloss would be nice on you.

and smile LOTS. it can make anyone look 89476946748x prettier,

    good luck.
Hmm... I personally think that you are very pretty and have ENORMOUS potential:

    -eyebrows professionaly waxed

-plum eyeliner (top and bottom), or pink on top and dark brown on bottom

    -lip gloss

-grow your hair out and wear it naturally (curly or wavy, you can use a product to make it anti-frizzy.. if it is frizzy)

    --- and gain some CONFIDENCE!!!

-compliment yourself on what you are good at (academics, a sport, extra curricular, etc.)

    Good Luck!! :)
dont part your hair down the middle. get a new haircut, maybe side bangs. go to sephora or some place where they show you how to do your makeup. proactiv works for the acne, try it...and while it clearing up you should try the urban decay mineral makeup and the balm concealer
maybe try some face framing bangs that will look really good on you. maybe try same eyliner and mascara if you don't want to do a lot of make up. because are very pretty.
    you look fine :)

the only thing i could sugest is that maybe you should get a more lively hair cut, because its just so plain and ordinary the way it is now
    :You look great.

maybe you could dye your hair a dark chocolate brown and add some thin highlights to it...add some bangs.you should also wear a little eyeshadow and curl your eyelashes
wear a little eyeliner and mascara, get some new clothes. you would look good with bangs too
O.o you look better in the first pix.. the rest there is too much make up, white powder.... don't try to eradicate your acne, it will make your skin unnatural.. anyway i do not know about good make ups or is it to please yourself, others or rather both but imho, i can tell what you might do based on my views... imean you can not take these into consideration but these are just my personal liking...

your acne is not as harsh as others, so its nice and fine...

change hairstyle to like right or left partition, one end going to other and lil covering eyes, something like that

    fair,not so dark eyeliners

    http://images.teamsugar.com/files/upl0/2…

and sone mascara, a lil touches and bling!

imean hey these are just my likings... for anything like hair types which will suite you or make up, you can ask your hair dresser or cosmetic saloon as well...

what you can do is built up you confidence, as i advised to someone else here, try building this confidense about you and liking yourself, not going to the extremes of course(narcissist)... go in front of the mirror and get used to that beautiful girl you see... gradually you will be ok.. and on basic normal simple make over tips, try experiencing and see which suits you... do not worry about acne... its not that harsh, its cute you... my cousin had acne and she didnt bother or cover it up with thick layers of powder but rather contend to what i told you not exactly but her own style following basic principles...
