Scene Hair tips? and makeup tips? ?

i got the rest of the look down but i need tips! my hair is dk brown, it looks black in some light. it's a bit past my shoulders, and is naturally curly. i straighten it. i use eyeliner, both stick and liquid. i need tips on how to apply liquid. i like MAC, and other cruelty free products, like urban decay. hair dye/extensions are not options. i have ';emo'; glasses i dint usually wear. and help would be lovely! Scene Hair tips? and makeup tips? ?
kay, first off, you're going to want to ask the stylist for ';choppy layers'; and a nice side fringe. [side bangs, side sweep whatever you want to call it..] and give the stylist a few pictures. note that your hair will not look scene or how you want it if you dont style it.

even if you have generally straight hair, you have to straighten it for this style, it just wont work unless its really straight.

when you straigten it, use heat defense spray. when i first got my hair cut i FREAKED. i thought it looked like a mullet or a mushroom cut. but its really not that bad. its all in the styling. and it really doesnt look like a mullet at all, i was just freaking out.

watch this video on how to style it.

you can try styling it like this now even if you dont have layers. but the plus side to layers it is makes it more spikey and awesome at the top..

so basically, dont be worried. it will look great. its all in the styling. its not that great of a cut without styling it but once you master the styling it will only take about 5-10 mins, depends on how much you style it. [excluding the time it takes to straighten your hair]

ps. the scene hairstyle is all about being original and doing what you look great. so you dont have to do everything just as the videos say, play around with it, be original and creative and have fun with it!

Hun

please never use the term ';emo glasses'; ever again.

Or else someone's going to beat you up.

But, I would suggest you trace a line in pencil first, then follow your line you already made with MAC or whatever liquid you want. That way you wont accidentally make one end uneven, and when the eyeliner is dry, you have to wash your face to get it off, and thats annoying.

Also, make sure you have a steady hand.
lol its cool=)

yeah same my hairs like dat too

just tease hair on top layers with brush n then hairsprayy!

leave bottom layers flat

why not tryy the smokey eye look?:P

put black liquid eyliner on the bottom n top lids n then trace with pencil after but also apply a thin line on the sides for eyes to appear wide n dramatic.then mascara.
get some choppy bangs and really choppy layers

wear your emo glasses

they are the koolest thing since veggie burgers

idk. im not much of a makeup person

i keep it as natural as possible

mainly keep it with colorful eyeshadows and black eyeliner

its all about the eyes with scenie boppers
layers layers layers!

then of course striaghten it.

use a dark brown eyeshadow all over the lid and a lighter brown in the crease.

tease your hair with upwards motions and hairspray it with rave or something good like that, :]
Get a choppy cut. Mainly bangs.

Line top eyes with liquid and bottom with pencil.

Use bright colored eyeshadows.

Keep lips nude.
